DGFT allows export of Bangalore Rose Onion upto a quantity of 9000 MT

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on October 28, 2019 has allowed the export of Bangalore Rose Onion upto a quantity of 9000 MT till November 30, 2019.

However, export of Bangalore Rose onions will be allowed for export subject to the following conditions:

i. The export shipment of Bangalore Rose Onion will be allowed only through Chennai port                   and export to be completed by November 30, 2019.

ii. An exporter will have to get a certificate from the Horticulture Commissioner and                              registered the same at the Office of Additional DGFT, Bangalore.

iii. Additional DGFT after monitoring the total quantity of exports issues registration certificate.

Effect of this Notification: Export of Bangalore Rose Onion (Serial Number 52, Chapter 7), upto a quantity of 9000 MT, has been allowed for the period upto November 30, 2019, with immediate effect.
