Government of Telangana revises the minimum rates of wages in any tanneries and leather manufacturing

The State Government of Telangana has revised the minimum rates of wages and variable dearness allowance (VDA) payable to the workers employed in any tanneries and leather manufacturing with effect from April 01, 2019 to September 30, 2019.

The followings are the categories:

1.Minimum wages for workers employed in tanneries producing goat and sheep skin:

Soaking, Bandam (Painting), Mudicar (Unhairing), Challa (Fleshing), Madchal (Scudding), Aurkam (First Beaming), Pattaship (Second Beaming), Kadakship (Myrobing), Tolship (Oiling), Ghota (Hand setting), Trimmer, Round cutting, Chouka (Picking of wood).

2.Minimum wages for workers employed in tanneries producing buffalo/ cow and calf hides            throughout Andhra Pradesh:

Soaking, Dehairing, Fleshing, Challa (Shaving or Mudikar Fleshing), Charke, Pattaships (Second), Murkul (Squessing Beaming), First Myrobolan, Second Myrobolan, Talship(Oiling), Augatla, Ghota (Shipping of Glazing or Thana Hand setting, Trimming.

3.Assistant Manager/ Executive, Manager, General Foreman/ Electrical Engineer/Civil                      Engineer/ Technician, Foreman, Security Officer, Assistant Foreman/ Sorter, Senior                    Supervisor/ Supervisor Grade-A, Accountant/ Superintendent/ Senior Sales Assistant,                  Senior Assistant/ Supervisor Grade-B, Senior Dock Runner/ Boiler Operator, Electrician/              Machine Operator/ General Operator/ Welder/ Store Keeper, Supervisor Grade-C/ Clerk/              Computer Operator/ Fitter, Maistries, Trainee Supervisor/ Watchman/ Misc.workers/ Office          Boy/ Helper/ Attender/ Sweepers/ Scavenger/ Cartman.
