Government of Telangana revises the minimum rates of wages in Hand loom Weaving Establishments

The State Government of Telangana has revised the minimum rates of wages and variable dearness allowance (VDA) payable to the workers employed in handloom weaving establishments with effect from April 01, 2019 to September 30, 2019.

The followings are the categories:

PROCESS CONNECTED WITH HANDLOOM WEAVING

Drenching and Winding of yarn Bobbing or pirn winding per knot of 8400 yards or 7,667.6 meters, Warping or Horizontal or vertical or sectional warping machines per knot of 8400 yards or 7,667.6 meters, Street sizing or shed sizing including cost of starch per knot of 8400 yards or 7,667.6 meters, Piecing of 120 ends (Punjjam), Dressing and beaming per yarn of 0.914 meters length of the warp, Exclusive weft weaving per knot or 8400 yards or 7,667.6 meters.
